This action-packed revenge thriller features a brilliantly intense performance from Egyptian film legend Ahmed Zaki, in the role of a man who is framed for a serious crime and sent to prison. He escapes and seeks vengeance, only to learn that his wife has also become a victim. As he closes in on the people who have betrayed him and his family, the police come closer to tracking him down and silencing him forever. This film that explores modern moral issues is from Egypt's important Neo-Realist film movement and is directed by Atef El-Tayeb.
The artistic design of this poster is a throwback to classics from the 1970s and '80s, with its gilded titles and image of Zaki in the background, observing the police who hunt him with flashlights. Hala Sedky is seen distantly, as the object of his pursuit that remains just out of reach. The dark colors suggest the tenseness of the story and themes of moral ambiguity.
