The Seller of the Rings, Style A - بياع الخواتم

$795.00

The mayor (respected singer-actor Nasri Shamseddine) of a rural village invents a story about a dangerous evildoer named Rajeh, in order to bring a spark of mystery into his peaceful but boring community. Complications ensue when two villagers discover the ruse and commit crimes in the guise of Rajeh. When an old man coincidentally named Rajeh eventually arrives to the town, it turns out he has a connection to the mayor's daughter Rima (beloved singer-entertainer Fairuz), and now there are more questions than answers for everyone involved.

This generously proportioned poster was designed by famed Italian poster artist Manfredo Acerbo, who is well known for his very sophisticated, painterly style. Fairuz is magnificent in the foreground, with a gentle look that portrays her unique beauty. A lively scene of village life in the background recalls the idyllic representation of rural Lebanon that Fairuz is so famous for celebrating. The vivid red background matches Fairuz's lips and adds an element of visual energy. This is a large poster that stands out in any setting.
