Dreams of Hind and Camilia - أحلام هند وكاميليا

$250.00

From acclaimed director Mohamed Khan of Egypt's celebrated “1980's Generation” comes this captivating story of two lower-middle class women struggling to survive with their dreams intact. One is a young widow, who meets Ahmed Zaki's scoundrel character and falls in love. The other is a divorced woman who lives with her brother's family, but she chafes at the constraints of her humble circumstances. This film poignantly investigates the lives of these women, who are often victimized by their status in society.

This poster is designed in a photographic style by the artist Gassour. Ahmed Zaki, Naglaa Fathy, and Aydah Reyadh are together in the key image, and the verdant green background suggests the couple's optimism about the future and better times ahead. The bright red lettering pops beautifully off the image. This is a very interesting poster that promotes a film celebrated by critics as one the decade's very best.
