Two longtime business partners find themselves at odds and one ends up plotting a way to humiliate the other. Amid a business reversal, the plotter increasingly focuses on revenge, culminating in framing his rival for a shocking murder. Mohsen Sarhan, Farid Shawqi, Huda Sultan, Zouzou Madi, and Abbas Fares star in and Hassan El-Imam directed this gritty film that explores the darker side of human nature.
A colorful green background highlights the actor portraits: Huda Sultan in an elegant, sleeveless black dress with heart-shaped embellishment, Zouzou and Fares next to her in formal wear. Sarhan is shown behind bars, in an image from the film. The text font closely represents the style typical of the period. This poster from designer Zaki Morsi has notable collectible value for two reasons. First, the film was Huda Sultan's first major film role, and she went on to become one of the most beloved stars of classic Egyptian cinema. Second, it was printed at the prestigious Egyptian Graphic Printing Institute using the photo-lithography method, which was very rare for the 1940s and early 1950s.
