Fire of the Body - لهيب الجسد

A beautiful woman falls in love with her neighbor, however fame threatens to tear them apart when he accomplishes his dream of becoming a popular singer. As numerous women throw themselves at him, he is targeted by one in particular – will he learn the truth about her in time to save his relationship? Very little is known about this seemingly lost Syrian-Lebanese film from director Reda Myassar that stars famous Syrian singer Fahd Ballan, Sammoura, Abdelsalam El-Nabulsi, and Mayyada.

This poster was lithographed in Egypt, however the artist is unknown. Ballan is illustrated trying to comfort Sammoura, who appears as beautiful as ever. A caricature of El-Nabulsi, leaning in to snap photos of the pair, adds an amusing touch. A beach scene is sketched at bottom. The bright colors and an appealing style make this poster stand out.
