A man who works at a real estate office that manages luxury properties surprises his wife with a night in a lavish apartment while the owner is away. When they are discovered by the angry owner, everyone's relationship becomes more complicated by his attempt to exploit the family's relative poverty and seduce the wife. This film is an adaptation of the famous Abdelaziz Hilal story Who Loves Poverty? and stars Naji Jabr, Ighraa, and Omar Khurshid.

Very daring for its time, images from the film portray two pivotal scenes: the woman in bed with her husband at top, then her again at bottom seemingly giving in to the owner's advances.
