When a poor girl is married off to a wealthy man, his father objects to the nuptials. Their otherwise happy marriage is ruined when she becomes enthralled by a conman and the husband seeks a divorce. She swears revenge against the conman and hopes to restore the life she enjoyed. This film from famed director Henry Barakat stars Egyptian cinema legend Huda Sultan and actor Mohsen Sarhan.
Huda Sultan appears troubled in the spotlight image, with Sarhan's evil character seemingly whispering in her ear. Additional scenes of Huda and the husband are illustrated in the background, where conflicting light and dark blue hues suggest the anguished themes of the story. The images are crisp, colorful, and compelling.
