This film brings together the talents of actor Nour El-Sherif and actress Noura, two of the most respected Egyptian performers of the '70s and '80s. A photojournalist stumbles across the scheme of a gang of thieves that is smuggling priceless artifacts from Egypt. His pursuit of justice coincides with the police closing in. This film is an exemplar of the Egyptian neo-realist film movement of the early 1980s, which sought to shed light on corruption and decaying social values.
This poster has an amazing density of imagery and thematic depth, and is rendered in a wonderfully layered style. El-Sherif is pictured with a camera in hand, with a victim captured in the reflection from the lens. Key scenes and characters from the film are depicted in a way that demonstrates the action and bravado of the film.
