The Language of Love - لغة الحب

Saif Abdelrahman portrays a man who falls in love with a Polish dancer (actress Barbara Karska), who is visiting Egypt. Their romance becomes entangled in the wishes of his father, who wants him to marry a cousin (Nahed Sherif), who complicates matters further with her love for her neighbor (Ahmed Ramzy). Where will their hearts settle?

This film was a rare-for-the-time Egyptian-European co-production and features several European actors. The bubblegum pink background highlights head shots of the cast: Barbara is reading a book (“The Art of Love”), Ahmed and Nahed are the attractive couple, Saif is the smaller image, and Saif and Barbara kissing are depicted in a line drawing. This poster has a unique 1970s energy, and the colors and design have a very festive and romantic feeling.
