Beloved star Kamal El-Shennawy plays an actor who toils in relative anonymity in this cautionary-themed film. His big break arrives in the form of a starring role alongside a famous actress, portrayed by Lebanese singer-actress Sabah, and he eagerly leaves behind friends and family in order to embrace his new stardom. He marries Sabah and gains the fame he coveted, but is overtaken by an unexpected illness and is unable to enjoy the life he thought he wanted.
Talented poster artist Vassilliou uses an intriguing layout to hint at the twists and turns in this often sad morality tale. A closeup of Kamal El-Shennawy and his first love, played by Layla Fawzi, in a passionate but troubled embrace is framed within a lurid orange spotlight, while an image of Sabah is alongside, in which she appears elegant yet aloof and judgmental. A vertical black frame on the left creates an off-kilter balance that is prominent against a turquoise background. The color and quavering style of the title connects visually with Sabah's blonde hair. This is a complex and artistically rich poster with a unique visual appeal.
