This patriotic film follows the exploits of a squadron of Syrian fighter pilots during the 1973 October War. Their otherwise ordinary lives are interrupted when they are called on to defend their nation and try to free occupied lands from Israel. Their sacrifices elevate them to heroes of Syria. Marwan Akkawi directs and the film stars beloved Syrian actress Ighraa, Radwan Aqili, and Khaled Taja.
Syrian artist Farouq Khalifa created an illustration that leans into the military aviation story, showing a squadron of fighter planes in the air against a brilliant blue background, and a unit of anti-aircraft missiles in the mountains. Cameos of the three stars are aligned to the right. The title calligraphy is sharply angled and slanted in a style that suggests the extreme speed of the fighters.
